                      HERITAGE BASKETBALL 2011/2012

The goal of the Heritage Basketball Program is to teach our players to work hard and develop skills on and off the court to glorify the Lord.

1 Cor. 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
God desires for us to grow in humility and experience the grace of God.

Phil. 2:3-4 "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others."

Learning to play as a TEAM is a great way to develop godly character for the player, the coach and the parent as well.

The Heritage basketball program is open to boys and girls K-12.

We play in a league against other private schools. The league has Varsity, JV, 14 and under and 12 and under divisions for the boys teams and for the girls teams. Our teams require that you be at least 10 to play in this league.

We also have an opportunity for the players to participate in "March Gladness", a 3-day homeschool tournament in Riverside.

For our K-4th grade students we will have a non-competitive co-ed program where they will learn basketball skills from professional coaches with the assistance of our own volunteer Heritage coaches.
